The East Kootenay Heritage Fair takes place in the Royal Alexandra Hall at the Cranbrook History Centre with judging on Friday, May 10.

On Saturday, May 11, the public are invited to view projects from 10 - 11 am, followed by a short Awards Ceremony.

This year over 250 students from seven schools — Amy Woodland Elementary, Gordon Terrace Elementary, Highlands Elementary, Kootenay Christian Academy, Kootenay Orchards Elementary, Steeples Elementary and Parkland Middle School — have been working on a wide range of projects with a Canadian history theme, which could be about their family/local/provincial/national or even international history.
