B.C Transit’s annual “Stuff the Bus” event in Cranbrook was a success.
B.C Transit’s operating partner NextGen Transit filled a bus with roughly 1,200 pounds of non-perishable food donated by Cranbrook residents. It also collected approximately $1,200 in donations through the sale of 150 hamburgers on Nov. 4 outside of Safeway.
Food and money will go to the Cranbrook Food Bank to support people in need this holiday season.
